The brake wheel is composed of two half-couplings, a jacket, and several non-metal elastic pins.Insert the column into the mating hole formed by the arc teeth of the half coupling and the inner arc teeth on the outer ring to realize the connection of the two halves of the coupling.
Detailed description of the brake wheel
The brake wheel is made of several non-metallic material pins, which are placed in the mating holes between the two halves of the coupling and the inner surface of the outer ring, and the two halves of the coupling are connected through the pin to transmit torque. The coupling has the following characteristics:
(1) The transmission torque is large. At the same torque, the rotation diameter is mostly smaller than that of the gear coupling, and the volume is lighter. It can partially replace the gear coupling.
(2) Compared with the gear coupling, the elastic pin gear coupling has a simple structure, fewer components, and is more convenient to manufacture. It does not require a gear processing machine tool.
(3) The elastic pin gear coupling is easy to maintain and has a long service life. The nylon pin can be replaced by removing the baffle plate.
(4) The nylon pin of the elastic pin tooth coupling is made of self-lubricating material and does not need lubrication, which not only saves lubricating oil, but also purifies the working environment.
(5) The elastic pin gear coupling has poor vibration reduction performance and high noise.
The brake wheel has the performance of compensating the relative deviation of the two shafts. It is suitable for medium and high power transmission, and is not suitable for working parts that require vibration reduction and strict noise control.
