The plum blossom coupling is the intermediate connecting part of each movement mechanism. It has a direct impact on the normal operation of each movement mechanism. Therefore, when using it, pay attention to:

1. The plum blossom coupling is not allowed to have a skew and radial displacement exceeding the specified axis line, so as not to affect its transmission performance.

2. The bolts of the plum blossom coupling must not be loose or damaged.

3. Plum blossom couplings and slider couplings should be lubricated regularly, and grease should be added once every 2 to 3 months to avoid severe wear of the gear teeth and serious consequences.

4. The contact length of the tooth width of the plum blossom coupling shall not be less than 70%; the axial movement shall not be greater than 5mm.

5. The plum blossom coupling is not allowed to have cracks. If there is a crack, it needs to be replaced (it can be knocked with a small hammer, judged according to the sound).

6. The keys of the plum blossom coupling should fit tightly and must not be loosened.

7. The tooth thickness of the plum blossom coupling is worn out. When the lifting mechanism exceeds 15% of the original tooth thickness, when the operating mechanism exceeds 25%, it should be scrapped. If there is a broken tooth, it should also be scrapped.

8. If the elastic ring of the plum blossom coupling and the sealing ring of the gear coupling are damaged and aging, please pay attention to timely replacement.

At present, plum couplings are more and more widely used, but many users are not very clear about the details of installing plum couplings. Here is a brief introduction for you:

1. Before installation, check whether the two shafts of the prime mover and the working machine are concentric, whether there are wrapping paper and scratches on the surfaces of the two shafts, whether there are debris in the inner holes of the two half couplings of the plum coupling, and whether the edges of the inner holes are If there are bruises, the shaft and half coupling should be cleaned up, and the bruises should be treated with a fine file.Then check whether the inner hole diameter and length of the two half couplings are consistent with the diameter and shaft elongation of the prime mover and working machine.In general selection, it is better to make the length of the prime mover and the working machine end half-coupling less than 10-30mm of shaft elongation.

2. In order to facilitate the installation, the two half couplings are placed in the 120-150 incubator or oil tank for preheating, so that the inner hole size is enlarged and it is easy to install.After installation, the shaft head should not protrude from the end face of the half coupling, it is better to be flush.Detect the distance between the two halves of the coupling: take the average of the 3--4 readings measured along the two inner sides of the flange of the half-coupling, and the sum of the measured dimensions of the extension and the two diaphragm sets. The error is controlled within the range of 0-0.4mm.

3、找正:用百分表检测两半联轴节法兰盘端面和外圆跳动,当法兰盘外圆小于250mm时跳动值应不大于0.05mm;当法兰盘外圆大于250mm时,跳动值应不大于0.08。

4. Install the bolts: insert the bolts from the outside of the small hole of the flange, pass through the outside of the large hole of the other flange, put on the buffer sleeve, elastic washer, twist the nut, and tighten the nut with a wrench.If the installation is unsuitable or if it is removed and replaced without damaging the shaft and the half coupling, it is better to rotate freely after installation.

5. Instructions for the operator: Before starting the equipment, check whether the nut of the plum coupling is loose or falling off. If so, tighten the nut with a wrench in time.

Inspection work after installation of plum coupling:

The plum blossom coupling must be inspected after installation.

1) After the installation of the plum blossom coupling is completed, the inspector should check the accuracy of the installation position in order and determine the performance of each fastener.

2) Prior to operation, the reducer will increase the load once it is installed improperly. The additional load between the shafts can be added during the automatic control of the motor to improve the sensitivity, which is unmatched by other couplings.

3) The radial load on the output bearing is relatively large, and the reinforced type should also be selected.It is easy to cause damage to the bearing and even break the output shaft.

4) After installing the plum blossom coupling, prepare for operation. Remove the vent plug of the oil sump and replace it with a vent plug, open the oil level plug screw to check the oil line height, and add lubricating oil over the oil level plug Screw until the hole overflows, and then screw on the oil level plug and confirm that it is correct, you can start trial operation.

5) The plum blossom coupling used in the reducer has a variety of optional types, but do not use rigid fixed couplings. The installation of this type of coupling is difficult. The installation position of the reducer requires the operation of the staff. Including easy access to cursors, vent plugs and oil drain plugs.
